Perini’s Hair Plus named Chamber/Historical Society ‘Business Icon’

Frank Perini, founder Perini’s Hair Plus, will receive the Arcadia Business Icon tribute August 15 from the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Arcadia Historical Society. The monthly recognition pays tribute to longstanding businesses in Arcadia for their ongoing contribution to the financial health of the City and to the historical cultural fabric of the community. Perini opened his barbershop in Arcadia in 1954. He and his staff gave free haircuts at all-night graduation parties and sponsored a Little League team in Arcadia for 44 years. He joined the Arcadia Rotary Club shorty after opening his shop. For the past 44 years Perini has been the official photographer for Rotary Club.

The program and recognition will take place from 7:30 a.m. – 9 a.m. at the Santa Anita Golf Course club house Sunset Room as part of the Chamber’s Networking Breakfast (third Thursday of each month).
