‘Be Prepared’ is not just a motto. It’s a way of life for emergency service personnel especially Fire and Police departments. These dedicated men and women know that at any given moment, they’ll get an emergency call to help render aid in a wildfire or earthquake or any number of tragedies that man has to face
On Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 10:00am – 2:00pm at the Royal Oaks Elementary School, the City of Bradbury held its second annual “Mayday” Emergency Preparedness Expo, an event that will brings community resources together in preparation for the next big emergency. Nestled against the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains, the residents of Bradbury and Duarte have come to enjoy the tranquility that nature provides while accepting the inherent risk of a potential wildfire. The “Mayday” Emergency Expo is designed to address this danger and leave the community prepared to manage whatever emergency situation may come their way.
