The driver of the vehicle, a 24-year-old male resident of Porter Ranch, was found unconscious at the scene. The first responders began immediate life saving measures and transported him to the hospital. The driver was pronounced deceased shortly after arriving at the hospital. A passenger in the vehicle was not injured in the collision. It is unknown at this time if alcohol was a factor, and the name of the driver is being held pending notification of his family.
