The Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Los Angeles, leading the fight to End Epilepsy, will host its annual Walk to End Epilepsy non-competitive 5k Walk/Run and 1-Mile Stroll. The event will also feature festivities including the Big Brain: a giant, interactive walk-through inflatable brain, team sign decoration stations, arts and crafts, games, activity booths, food trucks and more.
The Walk benefits the more than 360,000 people in California alone who have epilepsy, the world’s most common, serious brain disorder. A seizure can strike anyone at anytime, and can cause more deaths each year than breast cancer.
More than 5,000 participants are expected to convene alongside UCLA Quarterback Brett Hundley, an event spokesperson, Glee’s Darren Criss and Jane Lynch, a vocal advocate of the Foundation.
