

A 26-year-old gang member was found guilty Friday of killing a well-known Pasadena barbershop owner, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.
Deputy District Attorney Donna Hollingsworth, of the Hardcore Gang Division, said Davon Westley Moore of Los Angeles was found guilty of first-degree murder with the special circumstances of murder during a burglary and robbery in case GA084339.
Moore will face a sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole at a hearing scheduled on December 9 in Department C of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Pasadena Branch.
Moore stabbed King King, 43, to death during a robbery on Sept. 21, 2011, the prosecutor said. King
King was found dead in a parking lot behind his barbershop in the 900 block of East Washington
Avenue.
Co-defendant Sabrina Octavia King pleaded no contest to one count each of voluntary manslaughter and first-degree robbery on Mar. 27. She is not related to the victim.
The case was investigated by the Pasadena Police Department.
