The Odd Couple Opens May 8th at the Sierra Madre Playhouse

Fifty years ago this spring, The Odd Couple debuted on Broadway, starring Walter Matthau and Art Carney. It was revived on Broadway twice, including one version starring Sally Struthers and Rita Moreno which reversed the gender of its characters. The play became the basis for two movies starring Matthau and Jack Lemmon, as well as three TV series. The first of these, starring Tony Randall and Jack Klugman, is considered a classic of the medium.

He’s worked with many area venues and companies, including Interact Theatre Company, Parson’s Nose, Geffen Playhouse, Hillside Repertory and more.
