The Monrovia Unified School District is presenting another professional production at the Taylor Performing Arts center this weekend. Starting tonight, Thursday, July 16th, this musical will be performed five times. Tonight, Friday, July 17th, and Saturday, July 18th the performance will begin at 8 p.m. There will also be two matinees, one on Saturday at 2 p.m. and a second at 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 19th.
The show features Monrovia High School graduate Majorie Zuk in the title role. This is her second lead role at the Taylor PAC; last winter she played Esther in Meet Me in St. Louis. Kelsey O’Keefee, Cody Clark, and Emily Ganley, all veterans of other productions at the center, also hold lead roles in this musical.
Tickets for this fun filled production are only $25 for general admission, $20 for seniors, and $15 for students. There are reduced rate tickets for the Saturday afternoon matinee at $10 each. VIP seats are $35. Tickets can be purchased through Brown Paper Bag. For more information on tickets go the center’s website at: www.lktayorperformingarts.com.
