Assistance League of Pasadena is holding a Prospective Member Coffee at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 13, at its chapter office located at 820 E. California Blvd. in Pasadena.
Assistance League of Pasadena is an active, dedicated, diverse group of individuals. It is a chapter of Assistance League, a national non-profit organization formed in 1935. Over 26,000 member volunteers in 120 chapters nationwide operate community programs that impact more than 1.5 million people each year.
The Pasadena chapter has been serving the needs of the Pasadena community since 1941. It has five major philanthropic programs, and these programs are supported through membership donations, grants, and the chapter’s thrift shop (Treasure Fair). Membership is open year round to both residents and non-residents of Pasadena, and informational coffees are held throughout the year to provide an opportunity to learn more about the organization.
Interested individuals must RSVP by contacting the Assistance League of Pasadena office at (626) 449-2068 or alpasadena@sbcglobal.net. To learn more about the organization’s philanthropic programs and thrift shop, please visit www.pasadena.assistanceleague.org/.
