Liz Leavens Passes Away

Monrovian and long-time active member of the Monrovia Historical Preservation Group, Liz Leavens, died last Friday evening. Plans for a memorial service are pending. A full tribute of her life will appear soon in this newspaper. Liz will be remembered for many things, but especially for her joy at showing visitors historic homes on the annual MOHPG Old Homes Tour. She is pictured here doing just that in the 2008 tour.
