

Arcadia Detectives discovered an estimated 3,000 marijuana plants being grown in an industrial building on Goldring Road and arrested eight men on Wednesday.
Police received information that the building in the 11000 block of Goldring Road was being used to grow marijuana, Lt. Roy Nakamura said in a statement.
Detectives served a search warrant at the location at around 8 a.m.
Nakamura said the building contained about three thousand marijuana plants in various stages of growth. Investigators found air filtration systems, lighting equipment, watering systems and fertilizers in the building.
Eight suspects at the location were arrested on suspicion of cultivating marijuana. The suspects arrested were identified as Jairon Estrada of Los Angeles, Micah Hicks of Fountain Valley, Cesar Rodriguez of Los Angeles, William Siney of Los Angeles, Jose Orellana of Los Angeles, Douglas Harrison of Santa Monica, Eric Carrillo of La Puente and Alex Luna of Los Angeles.
The suspects are being held at the Arcadia police jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
