City Will Not Seek Appellate Review of Report on McDade Shooting

In a city council conference with legal counsel regarding pending litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1) on Monday:  Pasadena Police Officers Association v. Superior Court Court of Appeal Case Nos. B260332 and B261437 (LASC Case No. BC556464) the city voted not to seek appellate review of the McDade OIR report.

It was moved by Councilmember Kennedy, seconded by Councilmember McAustin to refrain from seeking appellate review. Ayes: Mayor Tornek, Councilmembers Hampton, Kennedy, McAustin, Wilson. Noes: Vice Mayor Masuda, Councilmembers Madison, Gordo.
