Three men pleaded no contest yesterday, Oct. 21, 2015, for robbing an 87-year-old man as he exercised around the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced. Juan Antonio Medina Martínez, 19, and Gabriel Anthony Mixco, 20, of Rowland Heights, and Dominick Tobiah Guzman, 19, of Hacienda Heights, each entered the plea to one felony count of second-degree robbery in case GA096001. Deputy District Attorney Tamu Usher said the three defendants were immediately sentenced to three years in state prison.

Martínez, Mixco, and Guzman stole a fanny pack from the elderly victim after pushing him to the ground on March 27, the prosecutor said. The case was investigated by the Pasadena Police Department.
