A woman, whose suspicious death occurred at a residence in the 36000 block of Paradise Ranch Road in Castaic, on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, has been identified as Nicole Danielson, a 26-year-old female.  An autopsy revealed the cause of death to be blunt force trauma to the head.

Her husband, Robert Danielson, a 29-year-old male, has been arrested in connection to her death.

On Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, following Nicole’s death, Robert Danielson was cooperative with homicide detectives.  He agreed to an interview and after being questioned by detectives, was arrested that Saturday evening.  Robert Danielson was booked for murder at Palmdale Station and is being held in lieu of one million dollars bail.

The couple’s children, ages three and one, are currently in the care of family members.

Last Saturday, Santa Clarita Station deputies responded to the location regarding a female adult in her 20s, who was found unresponsive by her husband. The husband called 9-1-1 due to her non-responsive condition.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The victim suffered physical trauma to her upper torso.
