View Winners → Vehicle Verses Hydrant in East Pasadena

On Friday evening around 6 p.m., a driver lost control of the car she was driving and smashed into a fire hydrant on the corner of Allen and East Colorado. The impact sent a column of high pressure water hundreds of feet into the air and took the Pasadena Fire 45 minutes to shut the water off. No one was hurt in the incident and a rousing round of applause from bystanders met the man who finally did manage to close the valve. – Photo by Terry Miller
