Pasadena Police Detectives need the public’s assistance identifying the persons responsible for assaulting an elderly man resulting in significant injuries. On Oct. 13, 2015, at approximately 3:30 p.m., a 63-year-old male was walking with a cane south on the west sidewalk of Lake Ave, north of E. Claremont St. As the elderly victim neared the northwest corner of Claremont St., he saw three individuals on Claremont St., just west of him. For no apparent reason, one of the three individuals approached the victim and shoved him to the ground resulting in the elderly victim sustaining a broken elbow and collarbone. The three suspects then ran west on Claremont Street to an awaiting car. The car drove north on Hudson Ave. out of sight.

The suspect that assaulted the victim was described as a black male, 25-27 years of age, 6’1”, weighing approximately 175 pounds. He was clean shaven and wearing a blue jersey with a red collar and white lettering on the front, blue pants and a blue baseball cap. A second suspect was described as Black male, 25-27 years of age, and wearing a white t-shirt and red shorts; no further description. A third suspect was described as a Black male, 25-27 years of age, 5’11”, 150 pounds, with short twisted dreadlocks and multiple tattoos on his stomach and both arms. He was only wearing gray cut-off sweatpants and his hands were wrapped in white tape (similar to a boxer). The driver was described as a Black male wearing a white T-shirt and white or gray shorts; no further description.

The suspect vehicle is described as a late model silver Toyota Camry or similar. The attached link depicts the suspects and vehicle, https://youtu.be/KFJs6CaxpF8.
