

On Wednesday, Nov. 25, at approximately 5:40 a.m., Irwindale Police Department officers responded to a “person down” call in the 15900 block of Foothill Boulevard in the city of Irwindale. When the officers arrived, they noticed a Hispanic man inside a compact vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. It appeared the victim was driving eastbound on Foothill Boulevard when he was shot.
Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded to the location and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The name of the victim is not being released at this time, pending next of kin notification.
The investigation is on-going and there is no suspect information available at this time.
