A special El Niño Program and Luncheon will be presented by the Pasadena Women’s Connection on Wednesday, Jan. 20 at 11:30 a.m. at the Women’s City Club, 160 N. Oakland Ave. Lisa Derderian, public information officer for the Pasadena Fire Department, will tell you how to prepare for El Niño. Also, motivational speaker Diane Maxey will share her message of triumph over depression, divorce, wayward teens, and job discrimination in her talk, “When Life Throws You a Curve”. Women in the community are invited to attend.
