The Monrovia Arcadia Duarte Town Council will host a parks assessment event at Pamela Park (2236 Goodall Road, Duarte) on Feb. 17 at 7 p.m.

Creating the future of our parks! We will gather your ideas. Work with L.A. County, giving direction to what you would like to see in your parks.

L.A. County has taken stock of what they have – existing parks, recreation facilities and open space – and the kind of shape they are in. Now they need to know what you want. Where do we most need new parks, recreation facilities or open space? Which parks need repair or expansion? What type of recreation is most needed?

Does your family play basketball or soccer? Like to swim? Tennis anyone? Or just want to take a hike? Parks are critical for healthy, thriving communities. Come and share what you need in your Parks.

For more information contact Dave Hall at (626) 241-8652.
