Since 1937, the Association for Library Service to Children has awarded the Caldecott

Medal to an artist who illustrated a picture book published the previous year. What better way to observe National Library Week than to throw a party for this distinguished collection of books? Bring the whole family to enjoy stories, games, and crafts that celebrate these award-winning titles!

For all ages, Thursday, April 14, at 7 p.m. in the Jerry Broadwell Children’s Room of the Arcadia Public Library. For more information, please call (626) 821-5566 or visit the library’s website at  http://www.ArcadiaCA.gov/library.

The Arcadia Public Library is located at 20 W. Duarte Road. The library is open Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. until 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. You can also follow the library on Twitter and Facebook.
