

Dying to perform in front of an audience for a prize? Teens are invited to perform a scene, recite a poem, sing, or play a song in front of a live audience on Friday, April 22, at 3:30 p.m. Teens can compete with an original piece, read aloud during the Open Mic session, or simply be part of the audience. Register in the Jerry Broadwell Children’s Room of the Arcadia Public Library. Poetry and lyrics must be submitted and approved prior to the event. All entries must be received by Friday, April 15, by 5:30 p.m.

The Jerry Broadwell Children’s Room provides collections, programs, and services for children and their families from birth through eighth grade. The Arcadia Public Library is located at 20 W.
