Five Burglary Suspects were arrested at approximately 6 a.m. for three business burglaries in the 1700 block of Huntington Drive. Cash registers were taken from all three locations. The suspects drove to a residential area in neighboring Monrovia where they attempted to break the registers. Luckily, residents heard the suspicious noise and called law enforcement. After a short vehicle pursuit that ended at Royal Oaks Drive and Bradbourne Avenue, with the assistance of Monrovia Police Department the suspects were taken into custody and booked by Duarte deputies at Temple Station.
The suspected were reported to be five African American males from the Inland Empire and Pasadena areas. All property stolen was recovered.
