Dress For Success: A Professional Clothing Drive for Men and Women
The Arcadia Association of Realtors is holding a special spring clothing drive for the Elizabeth House and Journey House. They are looking for donations to help men and women in need look their best and feel confident for an interview or new job.
Donations can be made from May 2 to May 13, Mondays through Fridays, at 601 S. First Ave. in Arcadia. Items may be dropped off anytime between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
– For men the following lightly used items are acceptable: full suits, jackets/blazers/sports coats, slacks/pants, ties and belts, briefcases/portfolios, and closed-toe dress shoes.
– For women the following lightly used items are acceptable: full suits, dresses/blouses, scarves, leggings, socks and hosieries, handbags or computer bags, closed or open-toe dress shoes.
Items that are damaged cannot be accepted and 100 percent of your donations will go to the Elizabeth House and the Journey House. For more information, call (626) 446-2115 or visit www.theAAR.com.
