With the 2016 fire season approaching, Monrovia, this past week, sent out customary brush inspection reminder letters regarding resident compliance with the fire code which includes vegetation removal for those living in the hillside interface area. In total, Monrovia sent out nearly 1,500 letters, and actual brush inspection activities (being coordinated by Monrovia Fire Department personnel) will begin on May 15, and will last through July 1.
