“What do plants need?” is the guiding question for this sprinkler workshop. Sprinklers, when carefully designed and operated, will help your garden thrive and use less water. This intensive workshop covers basic plant needs, sprinkler system design, and sprinkler system parts such as valves, pop-ups, nozzles, irrigation controllers, and, finally, sprinkler maintenance.
Workshop will be held at the LA County Arboretum on Saturday, July 23 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Cost is $25 for Arboretum members and $35 for non-members, per class (includes Arboretum admission). To register, call (626) 821-4623.
