Investigation Continues
Pasadena Fire Department units responded to a reported garage fire early Monday morning. Upon arrival, Engine 34 (E34) reported fire showing to the rear of 1837 E. Colorado Blvd.
E34 advanced to the rear of the property to find four vehicles fully involved with fire in a carport. E34 initiated fire attack and requested back-up.
Battalion 3 arrived and assumed command as “Colorado IC.” Engine 733 and Engine 32 were assigned back-up to Engine 34.
Truck 32 was assigned rapid intervention crew, Truck 31 was assigned safety. RA34 was assigned to support Engine 34 on fire attack.
Knock-down was called at 4:45 a.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by Pasadena Fire Department Investigator.
