Restaurant and Office Space Planned in the Proposed Re-Use Project
During the past several months, staff has been working with an individual entrepreneur regarding the potential purchase of the 4th Dimension building on Myrtle Avenue in Old Town.
The project that has been proposed involves locating an approximate 5,000-square-foot restaurant on the ground floor of the current 4th Dimension facility facing Myrtle Avenue and to utilize the remaining 22,000 square feet of the building for creative office/administrative/professional space.
After several months of work, we heard recently that there is a strong possibility the proposed project concept may be advanced forward and that the entrepreneur we have been speaking with will be finalizing the decision regarding whether or not to purchase the 4th Dimension building within the next few weeks. We will continue to closely work with all of the parties involved, and will be sure to keep everyone know of any progress on this matter.
