150 children will be given backpacks full of school supplies
On Saturday, Aug. 4, The Salvation Army Pasadena Tabernacle Corps will be holding its annual Back to School program at Sears. The event, held in conjunction with Sears, will feature the gifting of backpacks filled with school supplies and a $75 gift to approximately 150 local students. Participating families will also have the opportunity to shop at Sears an hour before their official public opening time. The event is also sponsored by the Pasadena Host Lions Club and PUSD Families in Transition. The Pasadena Fire Department will be present with a fire engine on-site.
The Back to School program will begin at 8 a.m. at the Sears in Pasadena, located at 3801 E. Foothill Blvd. Pasadena, CA 91107.
