Arcadia Mayor Pro Tem Congratulates Susan Rubio on State Senate Win

Rubio sisters, one in senate and one in assembly, represent Arcadia

Arcadia Mayor Pro Tem April Verlato issued the following statement:

“I’d like to congratulate Susan Rubio for her win of the State Senate seat representing Arcadia. I look forward to working with her in the coming years. She is new to the position but not new to politics. She has been serving as a city councilwoman in Baldwin Park. Her sister, Blanca Rubio is also in the State Assembly which covers part of Arcadia. This should make for a good partnership for Arcadia and having our voices heard in Sacramento.”
