Dramatic yet subtle photographs exploring the trials of aging and mental well-being highlight a month-long show of pictures taken by documentary photographer Grace Immink at the Gilb Museum of Arcadia Heritage. The exhibit, entitled “Transitions: Photography of Julie Grace Immink,” opens with a free reception on Saturday, Jan. 12, from 2-4 p.m. The exhibit runs through Saturday, Feb. 16.

For more information, call (626) 574-5440 or visit the Gilb Museum’s webpage arcadiaca.gov/government/city-departments/museum. The Gilb Museum of Arcadia Heritage is located at 380 W. Huntington Drive. The Museum is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m.
