On March 19 at approximately 11 a.m., Arcadia Police Detectives assisted Arcadia Code Enforcement Officers with a business license inspection at a commercial building in the 11000 Block of Clark Street. The inspection resulted in the discovery of an illegal Marijuana processing, packaging, and distribution center taking place at the location outside, and in violation of, the building’s business license with the City of Arcadia. Police Detectives interviewed several workers inside the location during the inspection, and one person was arrested for suspicion of violating Arcadia Municipal Code 6211 – License Required, as well as Arcadia Municipal Code 9104.02.030 – Marijuana Cultivation Prohibited.
The arrestee is identified as Dan Luo, a 35-year-old resident of Yorba Linda. Mr. Luo is currently being booked and processed at the Arcadia Police Department Jail.
