On Wednesday, April 17, at 7 p.m., author Kathleen Vallee Stein will be discussing her new book, “Loving Choices, Peaceful Passing: Why My Family Chose Hospice”, at the Arcadia Public Library. “Loving Choices” describes her family’s experience with her father’s terminal illness and their turning to hospice care. Kathleen Vallee Stein is an accomplished opinion writer whose work has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Christian Science Monitor, the Pasadena Star News, and other notable publications.
