Monrovia’s Community Emergency Response Training This Saturday

Monrovia Community Emergency Response Training’s (CERT) next basic training is the first three Saturdays of February from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pre-registration is now open at Eventbrite.

The classes will cover emergency preparedness, fire suppressionand safety, disaster medical operations, light search and rescue, disasterpsychology, and team organization.

Only sign up if you can make all three days of class. For Monroviaresidents and employees of Monrovia businesses, use the resident/businessregistration.

For everyone else, use the non-resident waitlist. All spots inthe category (including spot one) are a waitlist. Waitlisted parties will beinvited in registration order to the course the week before the class, if thereare spots open. Suzanne Dobson, emergency preparedness coordinator, can usuallyaccommodate most or all of the waitlist.
