Dead Infant Found in Pasadena Memorial Park

Maintenancestaff at a Pasadena park made a gruesome discovery when they were cleaning therestrooms Thursday night. They immediately called the police.

At approximately 10:10 p.m. Pasadena Police officers responded to Memorial Park, located at 85 E. Holly St., regarding a call of a possible lifeless infant located in a stall of the women’s restroom.

Thebaby appeared to be a full term newborn female according to Pasadena Police.

Officersand paramedics arrived on scene, located and confirmed that the infant wasdeceased. Officers commenced canvassing the area for potential evidence andwitnesses. Detectives responded to the scene to continue with theinvestigation.

LosAngeles County Coroner Investigator responded to the scene and took custody ofthe infant.

Themanner of death remains under investigation at this time.
