CBSLA first reported that a big rig carrying 38,000 pounds of milk crashed through a retaining wall of the eastbound 210 Freeway in Monrovia Tuesday around 2 a.m.
The truck, which landed on Evergreen, suffered “heavy engine damage” and was separated from the loaded trailer. The driver was not hurt, and no milk was spilled on the freeway.
The California Highway Patrol told CBS that tworight lanes and the Huntington Drive eastbound on-ramp would be blocked forcleanup and repair until at least 3 p.m. Tuesday.
