A woman who allegedly stabbed a man today at a residence in Pasadena was arrested following a standoff with police.

Officers went to the 600 block of North Mentor Avenue about 5:30 a.m. on a report of a domestic dispute, the Pasadena Police Department reported.

The injured man was taken to a hospital in serious but stable condition, police said.

Officers surrounded the residence, and a standoff ensued until about 10 a.m., when the woman was taken into custody, police said.

Her name was not immediately released. Information was not immediately released on the relationship between the suspect and victim, whose names were withheld.
