

A 32-year-old man was fatally shot in Bell Gardens Friday morning and Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives were assisting the Bell Gardens Police Department in what they say is a gang-related investigation.
Bell Gardens officers responded to a 1:15 a.m. call to the 6500 block of Eastern Avenue, where they found the victim unresponsive in the street and suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, said Deputy Alejandra Parra of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Parra said.
There was no suspect or suspect vehicle description immediately available.
