

A 3.3 magnitude earthquake struck about a half mile southeast of South Gate at 2:15 a.m. on Wednesday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The earthquake was about 10 miles deep. It was 1.3 miles south southwest of Lynwood, 1.4 miles northeast of Cudahy, 1.8 miles northwest of Walnut Park and 4.3 miles east of Downey.
