A fire damaged a two-story apartment building in the Sun Valley area Tuesday, but no one was hurt.
Firefighters sent to the 7500 block of North Whitsett Avenue at 11:39 a.m. extinguished the flames in 18 minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
