

A Silver Alert was issued Tuesday for an 82-year-old woman who was reported missing after last being seen in Carson.
Gussie Wiltz was last seen at approximately 4:18 p.m. Monday near East Washington and Carson streets, the California Highway Patrol reported. It issued the alert Monday night on behalf of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Wiltz is Black, 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighs 115 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes. She is believed to be on foot and was last seen wearing a red, white and blue floral shirt, blue jeans and black sandals.
Anyone who sees Wiltz or knows of her whereabouts was asked to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
