What is Readers' Choice?
It’s hard to beat a great recommendation. Our annual Readers’ Choice is a compilation of recommendations from your neighbors on how to enjoy your life best in the SoCal.
Why Reader’s Choice
Local businesses are the lifeblood of our communities. Many small businesses are struggling and some have closed. Businesses that are still operating need support from their neighbors and patrons. It’s a critical time for our favorite local spots and a perfect opportunity to recognize their contribution to our community.
Your Role
Readers’ Choice isn’t complete without your input. As a community member you know best which businesses deserve recognition. Make sure they get the credit they deserve by nominating, voting, and enjoying!

How it works
You nominate
Everyone has their go-to local businesses. From March 27 – May 8, nominate the restaurants, salons, mechanics, or other fixtures you rely on most in your community.
You Vote
On May 29 we’ll announce the best nominees in dozens of categories. From May 29 to July 10, vote for the ones you feel deserve recognition for their outstanding service.
You Enjoy
Go visit the winners! Readers’ Choice 2025 will be published on September 26. It’s a fantastic way to learn what your neighborhood has to offer. Try out all the finalists and see what the buzz is about!
